Ken G Sakuda, DPM

Dr. Ken Sakuda was born and raised in Okinawa, Japan. After high school, he came to Hawaii and completed his undergraduate degree in Biology from Chaminade University in Honolulu.

Dr. Sakuda is board certified in Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine and has been in practice for over 30 years. He is passionate about the care of his patients and have

developed long-lasting bonds with them.

He believes in working out a plan to solve their foot problems with close contact with family members and others in their health care team.

Along with being qualified to treat most foot conditions, Dr. Sakuda has special interest in prevention and care of diabetic foot complications, geriatric foot care, treatment of ingrown toenails, plantar fasciitis and heel pain, and sports related injuries. He has been utilizing new and effective treatments with cold laser therapy that often reduces or even eliminates the use of pain medications, especially narcotics.
